Advanced Ozone & Blood Filtration Therapy at Dawn of Life Aesthetics & Wellness
At Dawn of Life Aesthetics & Wellness, we offer Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation (EBOO) — one of the most advanced and comprehensive forms of medical ozone therapy available today. We are one of only two clinics in the state of Missouri offering this specific service.
EBOO is an advanced form of extracorporeal blood ozone therapy designed to support detoxification, oxygen utilization, immune modulation, circulation, and cellular health. This therapy is commonly utilized as part of a personalized, integrative treatment plan for individuals experiencing chronic, inflammatory, metabolic, autoimmune, vascular, or infectious conditions.
The blood is circulated through a closed-loop system, oxygenated, exposed to medical-grade ozone, filtered for toxins & pathogens, and returned to the body continuously.
All EBOO treatments are NOT created equal. We here at Dawn of Life have been researching for over 2 years and have carefully chosen the most advanced and safest technology on the market. There are a lot of imitators in the market but we are working hand in hand with the original developer who has been working on this technology for 27 years!
The Role of Ozone Therapy in Integrative Medicine
Medical ozone therapy has been researched and utilized internationally for over 100 years. Ozone (O₃) is a highly energized form of oxygen that, when administered correctly in a medical setting, works by stimulating the body’s own regulatory and repair mechanisms rather than masking symptoms.
In integrative medicine, ozone therapy (EBOO) is valued for its ability to:
- Improves blood circulation and enhances vasodilation (increases nitric oxide)
- Increases oxygen utilization (Improve cellular oxygen delivery)
- Improves and modulates the immune system
- Increases cellular metabolism and increases ATP production (increased energy)
- Removes and reduces lipids naturally (including plaques in arteries)
- Reduces and eliminates toxins by enhancing liver function efficiency
- Filters out toxins
- Restores and balances the gut microbiome
- Enhances and stimulates anti-inflammatory effects reducing the overall inflammatory burden on the body.
- Effective antiviral, antibacterial, antiparasitic, and antifungal
- Stimulates the release of growth factors and other mediators to re-active the immune system and reduce ischemia in vascular patients
- Has been reported to fight against cancer cells as it has been proven cancer cannot survive in an oxygenated environment.
- Enhance microcirculation
- Support detoxification of metabolic and inflammatory byproducts
- Encourage mitochondrial and immune system efficiency
Rather than functioning as a pharmaceutical drug, ozone acts as a biological signal, encouraging the body to restore balance at the cellular level.
What Is EBOO Therapy?
Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation (EBOO) is an advanced ozone therapy technique in which blood is continuously circulated outside the body through a sterile, closed-loop medical system.
During EBOO:
- Blood is oxygenated and exposed to precisely controlled medical-grade ozone, oxygenating and filtering the blood supply.
- The blood passes through a dialysis-style filtration membrane
- Processed blood is returned to the body continuously
Unlike traditional ozone therapies that treat smaller volumes of blood, EBOO allows for prolonged and repeated exposure, making it particularly valuable for complex, systemic, or chronic conditions. You will have filtered the entire body’s blood supply over the course of three treatments in just under three weeks time.
How EBOO Works in the Body
During an EBOO session at Dawn of Life:
- Blood is drawn through one IV line.
- The blood flows through an ozonation and filtration chamber.
- Ozone interacts with blood components, forming beneficial signaling molecules.
- Filtered, oxygen-rich blood is returned through a second IV line while also giving the patient 750-1000ml of IV fluids during treatment.
A typical session lasts 60–90 minutes and is performed in a calm, closely monitored clinical environment.

EBOO & Ozone Therapy – Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between EBOO and MAHT (Major Autohemotherapy)
Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation, or EBOO, is mainly used in treating toxicity and chronic illnesses. Despite the high efficiency of major autohemotherapy (MAHT), also known as a 10-pass, they do not always provide the desired therapeutic effect, particularly in the treatment of infectious diseases for which it is desirable to subject a patient’s blood, as much as possible, to the treatment by ozone. An alternative method is Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation – Ozonation (EBOO). The method combines the process of blood autotransfusion and its ozonation-oxygenation in the external circuit. Such an approach theoretically allows to ozonate up to half of the circulating blood volume in a single procedure.
MAH (Major Autohemotherapy)
- Blood is withdrawn, ozonated, and reinfused in batches
- Well-established and effective
- Treats smaller blood volumes per session
EBOO Therapy
- Continuous blood circulation
- Larger total blood volume processed
- Includes filtration and enhanced oxygenation
- Significantly less appointment time (90 min) than MAH (2-4 hrs)
- Often selected for more complex or chronic conditions
At Dawn of Life, EBOO may be used independently or strategically combined based on your individualized care plan.
Is EBOO therapy safe?
When administered by trained professionals using proper protocols, EBOO is generally well tolerated and deemed as safe. A medical history and bloodwork review is required to determine clearance for treatment.
How many treatments are recommended?
At Dawn of Life our initial protocol is a series of 3 EBOO & 2 Chelation IV’s done in just under 3 weeks but your provider may recommend a plan tailored specifically to you that looks different than this.
Can EBOO be combined with other therapies?
Yes. EBOO is commonly combined with IV nutrient therapy, lifestyle support, peptide therapy, hormone optimization, and other integrative modalities.
Does EBOO replace my primary care provider?
No. EBOO is not a substitute for primary care or emergency medical treatment.
Is EBOO painful?
Most patients experience minimal discomfort during the initial stick of getting both IV lines drawn, similar to standard IV therapy. Some report a sensation of warmth or coolness during the session.
Is EBOO safe?
EBOO is performed using sterile single-use kits, continuous monitoring, and trained staff following strict safety protocols.
Who should not receive EBOO?
EBOO may not be appropriate for individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have G6PD deficiency, active bleeding disorders, or are unable to tolerate IV therapies. All patients are screened prior to treatment with bloodwork.
Is EBOO right for me?
A consultation and screening are required to determine whether EBOO is appropriate for your wellness goals.
Is EBOO ozone therapy FDA approved?
No. Ozone therapy is not FDA-approved for the diagnosis, treatment, or cure of disease. It is considered an integrative or complementary therapy. Most alternative based therapies, detoxes and supplements are not FDA approved.
What Might I Feel After EBOO?
Every person responds differently to EBOO. Some notice changes right away, while others experience more gradual shifts over the days following their session. These responses are typically temporary and part of the body adjusting to a systemic wellness service.
Immediately After Your Session (Same Day)
Right after EBOO, patients commonly report:
- A sense of
calm or relaxation
- Feeling
clear-headed or mentally refreshed
- Mild
fatigue or sleepiness
- A feeling of
warmth or lightness
- Increased thirst (hydration is encouraged)
- Increased urination (may also be darker in color)
Some individuals may also experience:
- Mild headache
- Lightheadedness when standing quickly
- Temporary flu-like sensations
- Muscle or joint achiness
These sensations usually resolve within hours to a day and are often eased by hydration, rest, and light movement.
Later That Day or the Next 24–72 Hours
As the body continues to adjust, some patients notice:
- A temporary
dip in energy followed by improved vitality
- Increased urination or bowel movements
- Heightened awareness of the body’s detoxification processes
- Deeper sleep or changes in sleep patterns
- Emotional release or feeling more balanced
This phase is typically short-lived and may reflect the body recalibrating its internal systems.
Ongoing Sensations Over the Following Days
In the days after EBOO, many patients report:
- Improved
overall energy
- Greater
mental clarity or focus
- A general sense of
lightness or well-being
- Feeling more resilient or balanced
Results vary, and some individuals notice subtle changes rather than dramatic shifts.
What Is Considered Normal?
It is common for responses to vary based on:
- Hydration status
- Overall health and wellness goals
- Lifestyle factors (sleep, stress, nutrition)
- Whether EBOO is done as a single session or part of a series
Your provider will help you determine what is normal for you.
When Should I Contact the Clinic?
